Something shifted for me recently. After ten years of building Brandmerry, I've been doing a lot of reflecting. About what I've built, why I built it, and what I actually want to say before this next chapter begins. And I kept coming back to the fact that I have a story I haven't fully told yet. So I'm writing a book. Not a branding manual or a step-by-step guide like I originally planned 3 years ago. A book about what happens when you stop performing a version of yourself and start figuring out who you actually are underneath all of it. I've been writing it, and I'm continuing to write it this summer (spending a lot of time over the next two weeks while we travel through Europe), and I want you to come with me. I started a Substack called The Beautiful Climb, and that's where I'll be documenting the whole process. The messy parts, the breakthroughs, the moments from my life that became the foundation for everything I teach. The first article about the book was published last week here. But the second article went out today. It's about my brother CJ, a promise I made on camera one week after he passed, and how the worst thing that ever happened to me became the reason I built everything I've built. I don't share stuff like this lightly. But if you've been here for a while, you know the story has always been underneath everything anyway. I'm just finally letting it come all the way through. Come read it. And if it moves you, subscribe over there so you don't miss what's coming next. I won't be sending every Substack post to this list. This is its own space, its own pace, its own kind of writing. But I wanted you to know it exists, and I wanted to invite you in.
